Web analytics

Like many other providers, Mayway uses various methods to analyse the use of our websites. It goes without saying that we comply with data protection regulations.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. This is a necessary and effective tool for evaluating and marketing our website.

Since the protection of your personal data is very important to us, we have taken all possible measures to effectively prevent the transfer of personal data to Google:

1. you can prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de An opt-out cookie will be set, which prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only for our website and is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you must set the opt-out cookie again.

2. an anonymisation code has been embedded in the Analytics tracking code on this website, which ensures that the last group of 8 is deleted from the transmitted IP addresses and the IP address is thus anonymised. Google thus ensures that the full IP addresses are not used at any point.

As a result of the integration of the objection tool, the IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area by the last so-called octet. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The data will not be traced back to you personally.

Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website, including IP addresses, will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage.

Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf.

Google will not under any circumstances associate the IP address with any other data held by Google.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

By using this website, you agree to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Google Remarketing

This website uses the remarketing function of Google Inc. This function is used to present interest-based advertisements to website visitors within the Google advertising network. The website visitor's browser saves so-called cookies, text files that are stored on your computer and which make it possible to recognise the visitor when he or she visits websites that belong to Google's advertising network. On these pages, the visitor can then be presented with advertisements that relate to content that the visitor has previously accessed on websites that use Google's remarketing function. According to its own information, Google does not collect any personal data during this process.

However, if you do not wish to use Google's remarketing function, you can deactivate it in principle by making the appropriate settings at http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you can deactivate the use of cookies for interest-based advertising via the advertising network initiative by following the instructions at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp. Further information on Google Remarketing and Google's privacy policy can be found at: http://www.google.com/privacy/ads/.

Use of Facebook Remarketing

Our website uses the "Custom Audiences" remarketing function of Facebook Inc ("Facebook"). This function is used to present interest-based advertisements ("Facebook Ads") to visitors of this website when they visit the social network Facebook. For this purpose, the Facebook remarketing tag has been implemented on this website. Via this day, a direct connection to the Facebook servers is established when visiting the website. This transmits to the Facebook server that you have visited this website and Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook user account. For more information on the collection and use of data by Facebook, as well as your rights in this respect and options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Facebook's privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. Alternatively, you can deactivate the "Custom Audiences" remarketing feature at https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads#_=_. To do this, you must be logged in to Facebook.
